They will take care of you but they are SLOW...
Staff are very nice and helpful. You'll need your registration, proof of insurance, and driver's license to obtain a visitor's pass. Be prepared, it isn't a fast process, and the line can be long depending on the time of the day. It'll take 15-30 minutes to get through there.
Stop here on our way to Florida to see where my in-laws were married before my father-in-law was shipped off to Vietnam. Found a few of the older chapels, but not the exact one. Fort Campbell was even larger than I expected. It wasn't very hard to get a pass to proceed in through security.
The officers were very friendly and helpful - even with a line we were served quickly!
